Franchise Villages Coming to RecruitMilitary Career Fairs

I am pleased to announce that we have created an alliance with MFV Expositions, producer of franchise events worldwide, to educate veterans about small business ownership and introduce them to franchisors seeking to recruit qualified veterans into their systems. MFV Expositions will create a “Franchise Village” – an area of roughly 600 square feet area – at selected RecruitMilitary veteran job fairs. MFV Expositions team members in the village will represent six to eight different franchisors.

A franchisor seeking veterans to join its system can have a presence in the village without the expense and time of sending its own franchise sales team to the event. Instead, MFV staff, who will be fully educated about the franchise concept, will be on hand with printed panels, visual collateral, and detailed brochures describing the investment opportunities.

Owning a franchise is a viable career choice for enterprising veterans. Veteran-owned franchise openings rose from 6,081 in 2010 to 11,469 in 2011. We hope that our partnership with MFV facilitates the connection of veterans who are inclined to own a business with the franchisors whose concepts are right for them.

We have scheduled the first Franchise Villages for our events in Atlanta on October 31, Philadelphia on November 7, and Dallas on November 14, 2013.
