The Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company is one of the world’s largest tire companies. It employs approximately 73,000 people, and manufactures its products in 53 facilities in 22 countries around the world. Together with its subsidiaries and joint ventures, Goodyear develops, builds, markets, and sells tires for most applications — including passenger cars, light trucks, SUV’s, commercial trucks, race cars, airplanes, and heavy earth-mover machinery.
The company is headquartered in Akron, Ohio, and has innovation centers in Akron and Colmar-Berg, Luxembourg. In 2011, Goodyear posted net sales of $22.8 billion.
Goodyear offers a wide range of employment opportunities throughout its corporate operations, field sales, manufacturing facilities, and company-owned retail stores.
